Yoga, beginner

An introduction to the practice of yoga. Basic poses are covered with focus on alignment and breath. Get started on your yoga journey by learning some concepts and benefits of a regular practice. Therapeutic Chair Yoga Class

This event occurs weekly, on Monday and Wednesday.

This class adapts classic yoga postures for students who are limited in movement because of age, illness, disability, or injury.  We use chairs, the wall, straps, blankets, blocks, and gentle assists. This program is recognized by the national Arthritis Foundation as a treatment modality. Your first class is free, membership is required for subsequent classes.
